The Arts Commission of Danville/Boyle County is dedicated to actively supporting arts activities and to facilitating positive interaction among individual local artists, their organizations, and local businesses and institutions.
ARTScene, our bimonthly arts newsletter, provides a full calendar of local arts activities, from children’s art exhibits to professional theater.
While everyone benefits from the arts, few are aware of how much the arts impact our everyday lives. Arts experiences offer new ways to look at problem solving, human relationships, and career options. This organization works to expand arts opportunities for young people by promoting arts activities and sponsoring the McKune Arts Scholarship Fund.
